Please be careful about scammers. Use only regular PayPal or Venmo. NO cashiers checks, and Zelle is not great. And you NEVER have to give your driver’s license number for ANY reason. That’s a scam!!! Ask for more photos of a kitten, or a video. Ask for a photo of the kitten next to a piece of paper with ur name on it. Don’t get a kitten from someone who has “their own delivery driver”. And the phone number should be regular, not a Google phone that has to connect you when you give your name…that’s a definite scam!!! If you fly a kitten, you should get a confirmation number. Call the airlines and check out ALL the information on that reservation. For that reservation, the shipper gives their name, address, phone, and what is being shipped, as well as the date and times. Then you should Google that name, that address, and that phone #. (You find out some interesting stuff sometimes)! Ask if you can fly there and rent a car and pick the kitten up. Or ask if your brother, who lives near the kitten seller, can come and pick up the kitten for you. If they give you some excuse why you, or he can’t come and get the kitten – then it’s a scam. If they say yes, then say it was just a test, and unfortunately there is no brother. Real sellers won’t mind doing any of this. They understand!!! I have found MY kitten photos in advertisements of scammers selling my (of course, non-existent) kitten!!! I asked how they could have this kitten for sale since those were MY photos!!! They hung up on me and quickly took the ad down and lived to scam another day! 🥵 I hope this info helps you. Don’t ignore any red flag, or your bad gut feeling!
